BEFORE AND AFTERCARE

ADVICE AND TIPS BEFORE MEOTHERAPY TREATMENT

Skin regeneration treatments usually require several treatment sessions. For best results, usually every 2-3 weeks. 

ADVICE BEFORE THE TREATMENT

  • Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before the procedure
  • Avoid taking aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications for 3 days before the procedure (with your doctor’s permission)
  • If you are prone to bruising, it is worth taking Arnica preparations 7 days before the procedure
  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin moisturized
  • Eat some solid food before the procedure if you are sensitive to the sight of a needle

CARE AFTER THE TREATMENT

  • Avoid alcohol for 48 hours, alcohol dehydrates the body and has the opposite effect
  • Drink plenty of water to activate the effect of the medicinal preparation
  • Refrain from exercise or strenuous activity for 48 hours (sweat excretes the preparation through the pores, reducing its effectiveness)
  • Do not touch or wash the treatment area for at least 8 hours after treatment to prevent infection
  • Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours after treatment or until bruising subsides
  • If you are prone to bruising, use Arnica gel if any

MAIN CONTRAINDICATIONS TO MESOTHERAPY

  • Hyperthyroidism, Allergy to iodine, Heart diseases – arrhythmia, blood clots, Taking many heart medications, Pacemaker, Blood clotting disorders or current therapy with drugs that inhibit blood clotting, including: Warfaryna, witamina K, witamina C lub środki sklerogenne (Sclerovein, Scleremo, żel na hemoroidy), Cukrzyca insulinozależna, Historia niedawnego raka (zgoda lekarza), Zaburzenia nerek i wątroby – np. dializa,  Zakrzepica, Historia wstrząsu anafilaktycznego, omdlenia, Keloidy lub blizny przerostowe
    Autoimmune diseases, Infection around the injection site, Current treatment with a class of rarely used antibiotics known as aminoglycosides, Herpes simplex without prophylaxis, Pregnant or planning to become pregnant, Breastfeeding, Less than 6 weeks after giving birth, Epilepsy (with medications), Circulation problems , Drugs causing skin hypersensitivity, Skin diseases and allergies, a month before and after COVID19 vaccination.

We understand that the above list of contraindications is extensive, but not all contraindications completely exclude the procedure. For your convenience, we have prepared a consent form that should be sent to your treating doctor
